Dublin Poker Festival 2026
The Dublin Poker Festival confirmed a new collaboration with WPT Global ahead of its 2026 edition. The news arrived via an Instagram post describing the partnership as the start of a “new chapter,” which is about as close as poker announcements get to enthusiasm without saying very much at all.

Running from 19 February to 1 March at the Bonnington Hotel Conference Centre, the festival is one of the longest-running events in the Irish poker calendar. With more than €400,000 guaranteed across multiple championship events, the addition of an online route seems like a practical upgrade players have been waiting for.

Satellites Begin Next Month

The organisers confirmed that online qualifiers will launch on WPT Global next month. No formats, buy-ins or structures were released yet, but this marks the first time the festival has offered an online pipeline through any major operator.

It’s a logical extension and a welcome one at that. A festival with an 18-year history meets an operator with a wide digital audience, making entry easier for players who might not buy in directly.
