WPT Global offers $5 satellites to the $1,150 Winter Classic Main Event.

The Winter Classic at Playground isn’t just a live-only affair. WPT Global has outlined a satellite system that lets players qualify online, choose between online and live Day 1s, and target two separate Winter Classic events, all while starting from a $5 buy-in.

Road to the $600K Main Event

The Winter Classic Main Event headlines the festival with a $1,150 CAD buy-in and a $600,000 CAD guarantee. Online qualification begins at $5, stepping through $55 and $220 satellites.

From December 28 through January 25, WPT Global will host $220 satellites every Sunday. First-place finishers earn a Main Event seat and a Golden Ticket. That ticket carries a $120,000 CAD bonus, which is added if the satellite winner goes on to win the Main Event itself.

Online or Live Day 1 Play

Main Event qualifiers can start their tournament online or in person. Day 1 OnLive flights are scheduled on WPT Global for January 18 and January 25. Live Day 1 options at Playground run from January 29 through January 31.

Mystery Bounty Satellites

The Winter Classic Mystery Bounty runs with a $350 CAD buy-in and a $250,000 CAD guarantee. Players can qualify through $55 satellites that feed into $350 seats, with the ladder starting at $5.

$55 Mystery Bounty satellites run every Sunday from December 21 through January 18. Day 1 options include an online flight on January 18 or live Day 1 flights at Playground from January 21 to January 24.
