Omar Lakhdari has won the WPT Prime Cyprus Championship.
Omar Lakhdari beat a field of 1,391 entries across five starting flights to capture his first WPT Prime title, and his first victory on the World Poker Tour since he won the WPT DeepStacks Brussels trophy back in 2020.
The victory at WPT Prime Cyprus earned him a first-place prize of $190,940, which includes a $10,400 seat to the season-ending 2025 WPT World Championship.
“I am very happy to win," he said.
"This is the second time I’ve won a WPT tournament and it’s my favorite tournament. I am very happy, this is amazing."
The WPT Prime Cyprus Championship boasted a $1,349,270 prize pool, with the top 177 finishers earning a minimum cash prize of $1,940.
Attila Saracoglu finished runner-up for a prize of $125,000, while Joseph Haddad recorded a third place finish worth $93,000.
Also making the final table were Fabian Rolli (4th place - $70,000), Edgars Hauks (5th place - $53,000) and Andras Balogh (6th place - $31,000).
Live World Poker Tour action is currently taking place at Lincoln, California with the WPT Rolling Thunder Championship at Thunder Valley Casino.
The next WPT Prime stop on the schedule will be the WPT Prime Gold Coast, which runs March 21-March 26.
