Time to clear your calendars. As you (should) already know, the WPT World Championship is coming back to Wynn Las Vegas from December 2 to 22, 2025. Only now, we also have a schedule to go with it, courtesy of the World Poker Tour.
We have all the details, as well as the full schedule just below.
The Main Event: A $10,400 Affair
We'll start with the most important one of the WPT World Championship bunch, the $10,400 WPT World Championship. It's scheduled for December 13 and spans nine days, culminating in a televised final table on December 21.
Like last year, it's going to features three starting flights (Dec 13–15), with survivors coming together on Day 2 (Dec 16). Day 4 is set on December 18, which will (eventually) narrow down to the elite few on December 21. Seats will once again be awarded to winners of WPT Championship stops around the globe, with direct buy-ins also available.
$5 Million Guaranteed WPT Prime Championship
Of course, the WPT World Championship doesn't revolve just around the main event. Another headliner is the WPT Prime Championship, with a $1,100 buy-in and a $5 million guarantee. It's scheduled to get underway on December 7 with the first of four Day 1 flights.
A Few Special Events
The Ladies Event runs December 13–14 with a $1,100 buy-in and a $250,000 guarantee. Meanwhile, the Seniors NLH Championship starts December 18, also at a $1,100 buy-in, but with a heftier $500,000 prize pool.
Mixed Games, PLOs, and Specialty Championships
Not surprisingly, WPT is also looking beyond No Limit Hold’em this year. From early December, players can take a crack at Limit Omaha 8, H.O.R.S.E, T.O.R.S.E, and multiple flavors of PLO: traditional, 5-Card, Big O, and Mystery Bounty.
Expect entries from $600 up to $3,000 in these side formats, with many having six-figure guarantees and 2-day or turbo structures.
High Rollers and Value-Packed Events
Finally, at the top of the food chain is the $25,800 High Roller, scheduled for December 17–18. Other entries in the high-stakes mix is a $10,500 NLH 8-Max on December 21.
Mystery Bounties are also making a comeback, with several $1,600 editions throughout the series, including a finale with multiple starting flights from December 20 to 22.
