The World Poker Tour is set to end Season 23 in spectacular fashion with the return of the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
The end-of-year festival will include a variety of poker tournaments and events, taking place December 2-22, 2025.
The 2025 WPT World Championship festival will build on the success of previous years, and continue to deliver a world-class poker experience at the award-winning resort.
The highly anticipated $10,400 buy-in WPT World Championship Event will offer three starting flights, running one per day from December 13 to 15.
Remaining players from each flight will return on Day 2 on December 16, where the field combines for the journey toward the final table.
Play will continue through December 19, culminating in the final six players advancing to the televised championship finale on December 21 – where the next WPT World Champion will be crowned.
All registered players will be able to enter online satellites via WPT Global. If you are yet to register, use the WPT Global promo code NEWBONUS when joining the poker room to get the biggest available welcome bonus.
WPT CEO Adam Pliska said: "The WPT World Championship is a true celebration of poker, and Wynn Las Vegas has proven to be the ultimate stage.
"This event has become one of the most anticipated events on the global poker calendar and we look forward to welcoming players from all over the world to compete for life changing sums of money and their chance to make history."
In addition to the WPT World Championship, the WPT Prime Championship returns as a marquee event on the festival’s extensive tournament schedule.
Featuring four starting flights from December 7 to 10, surviving players from each flight will combine for Day 2 on December 11. The field will play down to the final six players on December 12, with those remaining set to return for a delayed televised final table on December 20.
The full festival schedule, including additional events, satellites and special announcements, will be released in the coming weeks.
