WPT Global Builds Satellite Ladder to Polish Poker Championship

The road to the Polish Poker Championship does not necessarily begin in Bratislava this year. WPT Global has set up a satellite ladder running from late August until November 1, with weekly $33 finals awarding $620 packages to the live festival.

For players in Poland, the first stage costs nothing, with Saturday freerolls feeding directly into the regular satellite structure.

A WPT Global package is valued at $620 and covers two central parts of the live trip: the tournament seat and hotel accommodation.

Winners receive one €150 Polish Poker Championship entry together with a three-night stay at the Tatra Hotel in Bratislava.

The hotel booking covers November 12, 13 and 14, with departure on November 15. Rooms are double or twin occupancy, and breakfast for two people is included.

Travel costs are outside the package, so qualifiers need to arrange their own journey to Slovakia. The same applies to visas where required.

The accommodation dates are fixed, and WPT Global does not provide a cash alternative.

Those qualifiers are scheduled four days per week:

• Thursday: two $33 tickets guaranteed
• Friday: two $33 tickets guaranteed
• Saturday: three $33 tickets guaranteed
• Sunday: four $33 tickets guaranteed

The next stop is the $33 weekly final at 20:30 CEST every Sunday. At least one $620 Polish Poker Championship package is guaranteed in each final through November 1.

Polish players can add another stage to the front of that ladder. Beginning August 27, eligible accounts in Poland receive 10 freeroll tickets. WPT Global then runs a Poland-only freeroll each Saturday at 18:30 CEST, with 10 seats into the $3.30 satellite guaranteed.

Each freeroll permits one re-entry, meaning the initial batch of tickets can either be used across the series or spent more quickly through re-entries.

Any $3.30 tickets awarded from the freeroll have to be used on the same evening.
