- 2026 WPT World Championship set for Nov. 27-Dec. 21 at Wynn Las Vegas
- $10,400 Main Event, $5M GTD WPT Prime, new $400 Super Gold Million with $3M GTD

WPT has filled in one of the biggest blank spaces on the year-end poker calendar.
The 2026 WPT World Championship schedule was released this week, confirming a November 27-December 21 run at Wynn Las Vegas with more than $20 million in guaranteed prize pools. The $10,400 World Championship returns, WPT Prime again carries $5 million guaranteed and a new $400 tournament will put $3 million up for grabs.
For players weighing up a December in Las Vegas, the festival now has a clear shape: lower buy-in multi-flight events in the opening week, WPT Prime from December 5, the new Super Gold Million from December 10 and the World Championship from December 13.
World Championship Keeps Its $10,400 Buy-In
There is no change to the Main Event price.
The WPT World Championship remains $10,400, with three opening flights scheduled across December 13-15.
Day 2 starts on December 16, while the final table is booked for December 20. Players are limited to one entry in each starting flight.
ClubWPT Gold will add $1 million in Mystery Bounty cash and prizes, separate from the tournament's regular prize pool. Players who reach the bounty phase will have access to those prizes through qualifying eliminations.
Schuyler Thornton won the 2025 edition after the field reached 1,865 entries, earning just under $2.1 million.
New $400 Event Joins WPT Prime on the Big-GTD List
The largest guaranteed prize pool on the published schedule belongs to the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship.
It returns with $5 million guaranteed and four flights from December 5-8. The final table is scheduled for December 12.
Two days before that final table, WPT will launch the new Super Gold Million.
The $400 Mystery Bounty tournament has $3 million guaranteed, with two flights on December 10 and another two on December 11. Its final table is scheduled for December 14.
Those two tournaments alone put $8 million in guarantees into the week before and around the opening of the Main Event.
